BACKGROUND / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Rev. Dungan is a Licensed Unity Teacher-in-Training and an Interfaith minister. She is presently the Executive Director of Interfaith Peace Ministries - a non-profit organization dedicated to the facilitation of Spiritual Exploration & Discernment. Pamela also serves on the board of directors for the Council for Interfaith Congregations - USA and Wisdom Circle Ministries.
Rev. Dungan has been an active member of the Unity Movement since 1977 and most recently served at Christ Unity Church, Sacramento, CA for the past seven years -- serving as a Pastoral Care Minister, Sunday speaker, Uniteens teacher, prayer chaplain, adult education coordinator, teacher, SEE-West coordinator, appreciative inquiry facilitator and a holder of sacred space for Sunday services. Rev. Dungan has completed the Unity Spiritual Education and Enrichment program, Unity Spiritual Development program and practicum and plans to complete the Skills Demonstration Seminar to become a Licensed Unity Teacher in November 2010.
EDUCATION / TRAINING Rev. Dungan holds a Master of Science degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration in Training and Development. Additionally Pamela is an accomplished facilitator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Appreciative Inquiry, Accountability Circles, and Future Search large-group interventions. She has received her Managing Ethics in Organizations Certificate from Bentley College and her Instructional Design and Development Certificate from Boston University. Rev. Dungan was ordained through The New Seminary in New York City. She recently completed the BePeace facilitator training through the Academy for Peace of Costa Rica and the Unity Prayer Chaplain facilitator training through Light & Love Ministries. She is currently enrolled in the One Spirit Learning Alliance Interspiritual Spiritual Counseling program.
PERSONALLY Rev. Dungan has been characterized as an enthusiastic, energetic and versatile development professional with the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization to facilitate change. Pamela has a passion for ministering and teaching. She is well known for her practice of deep sacred listening and her ability to utilize a broad range of materials, methods, and techniques to fit new and/or unique situations. Rev. Dungan shares her passion for motorcycling, kayaking, walking, biking and traveling with her stepdaughter, Kate and her life partner, Jeff.
